Maya is the employer of Sally Wilde at the Mail Office and was once herself a delivery girl. Back when she delivered mail, she once shot a bandit on the road, causing that bandit's friend to flee.
Gets on well with Rosie Bellworthy, who she tries to be a positive influence on.
Maya also has a niece, Zoe Coleridge.
